BMB Scientific Communications Committee
The graduate student forum was recently started to offer BMB graduate students and postdocs the opportunity to practice presenting their research in an informal setting for a diverse scientific audience. Presenters are encouraged to use the forum as practice for prelims, defenses, national conferences or other formal talks. (See "How to give an excellent presentation for tips on preparing your talk.) more information...
If someone would like to give a talk, they need to contact us at least two weeks prior to when you would like to give your talk. This committee is also available as a source to help find readers and help on prelim proposals. Students can contact a committee member, and we will try to put them in contact with a knowledge base relevant to their project who might be able to give them insight on their proposal.
The committee consists of Anna Hurlock, firstname.lastname@example.org, Kristen Entwistle, email@example.com Matthew Faber, firstname.lastname@example.org
