SUMMARY:The Rejuvenated Hubble Space Telescope
DESCRIPTION:
Professor Steve Zepf describes: Twenty years have
passed since the Hubble Space Telescope was
launched into orbit. Last year it seemed
as though it might be on its last legs, with
several of its major instruments out of action.
Astronauts onboard the space shuttle Atlantis
remedied that, visiting the Hubble Space
Telescope and replacing worn or failed parts
during ambitious spacewalks. The 20 year old
rejuvenated Hubble Telescope is once more observing
 the universe, with capabilities exceeding
those of the young Hubble Telescope\n\n
