SUMMARY:Center for Statistical Training & Consulting Workshop: Hierarchical Linear Models
DESCRIPTION:
This workshop, presented by Dr. Kimberly Maier,
will provide a basic introduction to the hierarchical
linear model, a particular class of
multilevel models. We will consider what kind
of research problems can benefit from this
modeling approach, what a two-level hierarchical
linear model looks like, and how we can
analyze multilevel data. A multilevel dataset
will be analyzed using HLM software. This workshop
is most appropriate for those who have
a prerequisite knowledge of multiple linear
regression and have little or no prior experience
 with multilevel models. Registration begins
 February 1, 2010. Please visit www.cstat.msu.edu
 to enroll.\n\n
