SUMMARY:Bodymapping for Musicians Workshop
DESCRIPTION:
 Neuroscientists are increasingly recognizing the
importance of mind-body connections in all
human activity. In fact, all of us carry neurological
"body maps" in our brain that tell
us how big or small we are, how we are put together,
and how we function. However, when
our "maps" don't conform with our actual bodies,
we cannot move easily or efficiently. This
is truer for no one more than musicians, who
require precise fine motor coordination to
perform well. Come and discover how to identify
your own body map, and how to correct it
for optimal performance and injury prevention!
Bring your instrument and dress comfortably.
