SUMMARY:MSU Jazz Camp
DESCRIPTION:
 This residential camp is for middle and high school 
 students from both Southeast Michigan (Detroit) 
 and Greater Lansing, with some playing 
 experience on their instruments. The program 
 focuses on jazz orchestra and small groups, 
 exposing participants to many arrangements 
 and composition styles used in jazz. Students 
 learn applied theory, sight-reading and improvisation. 
 Students stay in residence halls, 
 getting a first hand look at college life. Students 
 work with MSU College of Music world class 
 faculty and MSU Jazz Studies student mentors.\n\n
 Price: $465 (day campers), $565 (residential campers)\n
