SUMMARY:American Cancer Society presents Funding Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:
Need Research Funds? American Cancer Society (ACS)
funds more than just cancer. Find out why
the ACS is interested in your basic research.\n
 The
American Cancer Society (ACS) is targeting
the Michigan State University campus to
 present funding opportunities and strategies
for successful proposals. Come learn how to
make your research project ACS grant-ready.
Current Research Grants in the ACS Great Lakes
Division total over $20,000,000 of which $14,000,000
is funded in the State of Michigan
and the balance in Indiana. This is an under-utilized
 funding resource for MSU. These
award programs are opportunities for MSU faculty
and community partners across the research
continuum. To have a better understanding
of the breadth of the research ACS will fund,
currently funded awards, and agenda visit ctsi.msu.edu/events.
  This seminar is directed
to any career stage investigators, mentors, and
 department chairs.\n\n
