 of Clinical Research, Oregon Health & Science 
 University, Portland, Oregon.  At the end of 
 the activity (presentation), the participants 
 will be better able to: 1.Describe the clinical 
 features of pantothenate kinase-associated 
 neurodegeneration (PKAN), 2.Recognize the 
 specific MRI imaging findings of PKAN and differentiate 
 them from other forms of neurodegeneration 
 with brain iron accumulation.\n
 3.Identify 
 the fundamental metabolic defect in PKAN 
 and describe how this might be translated into 
 a therapeutic approach to the disorder.\n
