 "Eventing at Pops," trumpet virtuoso, actor, 
 and singer Byron Stripling has ignited audiences 
 cross the globe. Since his Carnegie Hall 
 debut, Stripling has become a pops orchestra 
 favorite. Stripling earned his stripes as 
 lead trumpeter and soloist with the Count Basie 
 Orchestra. He has also played and recorded 
 extensively with the bands of Dizzy Gillespie, 
 Woody Herman, Dave Brubeck, and Lionel Hampton, 
 to name only a few. \n\n
