DESCRIPTION:
  This workshop will provide an introduction to 
 using MATLAB as a tool for doing scientific 
 research.  The MATLAB programming language is 
 particularly well suited for use as a research 
 tool. MATLAB can be used in all aspects of 
 the research process, including: data gathering, 
 data organization,data analysis, model simulation 
 and visualization of results.\n
 The 
 hands-on lab exercises in this workshop are specifically 
 designed for researchers who are 
 new to programming and/or are not familiar with 
 MATLAB.   \n\n
