SUMMARY:Center for Statistical Training & Consulting: Introduction to HLM
DESCRIPTION:
 This workshop will provide a basic introduction 
 to the hierarchical linear model, a particular 
 class of multilevel models.  We will consider 
 what kind of research problems can benefit 
 from this modeling approach, what a two-level 
 hierarchical linear model looks like, and 
 how we can analyze multilevel data.  The workshop 
 will also include opportunities for hands-on 
 analyses using statistical software.  This 
 workshop is most appropriate for those who 
 have prerequisite knowledge of multiple linear 
 regression and have little or no prior experience 
 with multilevel models.\n
