DESCRIPTION:
 The Michigan State University Children's Choir 
 and the University of Michigan's University 
 Musical Society  will give a free concert titled 
 Festival of Voices at Hill Auditorium in 
 Ann Arbor on March 19. In addition to other works, 
 the choirs will perform an excerpt from 
 Mahler's Symphony No. 8, which they were originally 
 slated to perform in its entirety on 
 March 18 and 19 with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. 
 The DSO performance was canceled due 
 to the musicians' strike, prompting the choirs 
 to offer this free concert in its place.\n\n
