 NOTE: The One Book, One Community kick-off events 
 originally scheduled for Aug. 28 and Aug. 
 29 have been postponed. The Convocation-University 
 Welcome for new students will still take 
 place from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday morning at 
 Breslin Center.\n

 Jonathan Safran Foer, author 
 of this year's OBOC selection "Extremely Loud 
 and Incredibly Close," is unable to fly in 
 for the events due to the weather conditions 
 on the east coast. Foer is based in New York, 
 one of the eastern states impacted by Hurricane 
 Irene.\n

 All other 2011 OBOC events will 
 take place as originally scheduled. Visit
