 Gregory Volk will come to campus to speak on topics 
 in contemporary art. Volk is a New York-based 
 art critic and freelance curator who received 
 his B.A. from Colgate University and 
 his M.A. from Columbia University. He writes 
 regularly for Art in America, where he is a contributing 
 editor, and his articles and reviews 
 have also appeared in many other publications, 
 including Parkett and Sculpture. In addition 
 to his activities as a writer and curator, 
 he is Associate Professor in the School of 
 the Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University.\n\n
