DESCRIPTION:
 This residential camp is for middle and high school 
 students from Southeast Michigan and Greater 
 Lansing, with intermediate and advanced 
 playing experience on their instruments. The 
 program focuses on jazz orchestra and small 
 groups, exposing participants to many arrangements 
 and composition styles used in jazz. Students 
 learn applied theory, sight-reading and 
 improvisation. They stay in residence halls, 
 getting a firsthand look at college life, as 
 they work with MSU College of Music world-class 
 faculty and MSU Jazz Studies student mentors.\n\n
 Price: $500 non-residential, $600 residential\n
