 Tour led by Peter Carrington, assistant curator 
 of the W.J. Beal Botanical Garden\n

 Join Peter Carrington, assistant curator of 
 the W.J. Beal Botanical Garden, on a naturalist's 
 walk through the Sanford Natural Area (adjoining 
 the east side of Bogue Street along 
 the south bank of the Red Cedar River on the 
 MSU campus) for a look at a river's edge ecosystem 
 at autumnal equinox.  All manner of creatures 
 and plants will be highlighted in this 
 climatically unusual year.  Preparations for 
 winter and the foreshadowing of next spring 
 will be discussed.\n

 The group will meet in 
 the parking lot of Van Hoosen Hall near the 
 entrance to the natural area.\n\n
