DESCRIPTION:
 Michigan State University's Michigan Political 
 Leadership Program is one of the nation's foremost 
 training grounds for personal and political 
 leadership. The program spans one weekend 
 per month for 10 months during the year and 
 annually selects 24 rising leaders from around 
 the state. The annual dinner raises crucial 
 support for this program that has trained 
 more than 500 leaders in Michigan. This year's 
 dinner features Robert Gibbs, senior adviser 
 to President Barack Obama, and Karen Hughes, 
 former counselor to President George W. Bush.\n\n
