DESCRIPTION:
 Race for the Place, MSU Safe Place's annual 5K 
 Run/Walk will take place on Sunday, April 14, 
 2013.  The Race for the Place is the largest 
 annual fundraiser for MSU Safe Place and allows 
 the program to continue to provide vital 
 services to the members of the MSU and greater 
 Lansing communities who experience relationship 
 violence and stalking.\n

 The Race for 
 the Place 5K course on Michigan State University's 
 campus begins and ends at Jenison Field 
 House.  This year's race is the traditional 
 kick-off event for the Playmakers Greater Lansing 
 Race Series and has gained considerable 
 respect within the running community. In addition, 
 Race for the Place is a fun-filled family 
 event, with events for kids of all ages, MSU 
 varsity athlete participation and a visit 
 from Sparty!\n\n
