SUMMARY:Briggs 7th Annual Research Symposium
DESCRIPTION:
 April 22-25 marks the 7th annual Lyman Briggs 
 College Research Symposium- and we are excited 
 to celebrate the excellent work being done 
 by our friends, classmates, and colleagues here 
 at Briggs. The complete schedule for the week 
 is attached to this email, and we hope you 
 will consider stopping by Holmes Hall at your 
 convenience to help us recognize these excellent 
 research projects. Chemistry demonstrations 
 occur Monday through Thursday, and both 
 oral and poster presentations are scheduled 
 throughout the week, so check the schedule and 
 stop on by!\n

 Monday and Tuesday, April 22 
 and 23, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. will be the Special 
 Poster Session for independent research projects 
 and some of our upper-level student researchers. 
 Join us in the East and West study 
 lounges on the main floor and learn more about 
 1) controversial drugs used in cancer research, 
 2) antibiotic resistance in agriculture, 
 3) bioluminescence, and 4) factors and trends 
 affecting interest in STEM career paths based 
 on gender (to name a few).\n

 And we are 
 so happy this year to have support from the 
 MSU Federal Credit Union to provide prizes to 
 some of the best research presentations in our 
 Special Poster Sessions on Monday and Tuesday: 
 Join us both days at 8:15 p.m. for award 
 presentations.\n
