 by wildlife to provide the energy necessary 
 to either migrate to winter quarters or 
 survive the coming months of cold and darkness. 
  Animals need these plant products and the 
 plants need to be needed.  The fates of plants 
 and their animal neighbors are inextricably 
 entwined and interdependent.\n\n
