 Participation in the advanced 
 workshop requires an admission audition. 
 There will be a focus on professional audition 
 techniques and the business end of show 
 business. Bring a few contrasting songs that 
 work for your type. The workshop is designed 
 for students who have experience with musical 
 theatre and are ready for the next step in training. 
 Unlike the traditional TAKE IT FROM 
 THE TOP workshop, advanced students will perform 
 an abridged version of a Broadway musical 
 at the recital after receiving appropriate instruction.\n
 \n
 Applicants 
 for the Advanced Workshop 
 should provide a headshot and resume, 
 and prepare a one-minute monologue and 32 bars 
 of a musical theatre song. A CD player will 
 be available for pre-recorded accompaniment, 
 if the applicant chooses not to perform a cappella. 
 Applicants should also prepare 32-64 
 counts of dance/choreography. Results will be 
 announced by email on or before June 2.\n\n
