SUMMARY:Beal Garden Tour: Wild Food Plants at the End of Summer
DESCRIPTION:
 Tour the W.J. Beal Botanical Garden with assistant 
 curator Peter Carrington and look into the 
 wild food plants, and some of the toxic look-a-likes, 
 that come into their own at the end 
 of summer.  No actual tasting, but lots of 
 looking and appreciating the characteristics. 
  Tour starts at 12:10 PM and runs until 12:50 
 PM, Thursday, September 11, and meets at the 
 Beal Shed by the pond.  In case of rain, join 
 us for a virtual tour in the Main Library 
 Reference Instruction Room, first floor.\n\n
