SUMMARY:Traditions Through the Trees: Trees on the MSU Campus
DESCRIPTION:
 Join Dr. Frank Telewski, Professor of Plant Biology 
 and Curator of the W.J. Beal Botanical 
 Garden and Campus Arboretum as he discusses the 
 many historic and more recently planted trees 
 on the MSU campus.  The first trees were 
 planted before Professor Beal came to MSU and 
 Professor Beal planted many more, starting the 
 tradition of labeling trees across campus. 
  The diversity of trees on campus compose the 
 living library of biodiversity used extensively 
 in teaching, research and outreach for all 
 who study, work on, or visit the MSU campus.\n
