 Cicelsky, founding member of Kibbutz 
 Lotan\n

 Founding member of Kibbutz Lotan and 
 one of the leaders of their Center for Creative 
 Ecology, Alex Cicelsky will give a presentation 
 on the Kibbutz Lotan and its environmental 
 sustainability mission.  Alex grew up in 
 New York and holds a MSc in Environmental Studies 
 from Ben Gurion University and the Arava 
 Institute, and a BSc in Soil and Water Sciences 
 and Environmental Quality in Agriculture 
 from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.  Alex's 
 work at the Center for Creative Ecology 
 (CfCE) includes research, teaching, planning 
 new ecological infrastructure and development 
 projects, outreach and resource development. 
  The CfCE, established on Kibbutz Lotan in 
 1996, is one of Israel's premiere environmental 
 education, conservation, and research institutes. 
 The CfCE has developed and demonstrates 
 permaculture design, natural building, organic 
 gardening, renewable energy, and sustainable 
 waste management systems.  For more information,
