 Close
 to a
billion people login to Facebook daily, the
world's largest online social network. And they
are highly motivated to do so. Yet, we know
remarkably little about how interacting with
this technology influences well-being. In this
talk, I will review findings from an ongoing
program of research that is examining how
interacting with Facebook influences the two
components of subjective well-being: how people
feel moment-to-moment and how satisfied they
 are with their lives.\n\n
