SUMMARY:Dennis Hinrichsen at the Spring Poetry Festival
DESCRIPTION:
 Dennis Hinrichsen is the author of seven collections 
 of poetry: "Rip-tooth" (2011), "Kurosawa's 
 Dog" (2009), "Message to Be Spoken into 
 the Left Ear of God" (2004), "Cage of Water" 
 (2004), "Detail from The Garden of Earthly Delights" 
 (2000), "The Rain That Falls This Far" 
 (1991) and "The Attraction of Heavenly Bodies" 
 (Wesleyan New Poets) (1983). He lives in 
 Lansing, Michigan and teaches at Lansing Community 
 College. Dennis is the first guest in the 
 Center for Poetry's 2015 Spring Poetry Festival, 
 whose theme is "Michigan Poets: Reading, 
 Teaching, Writing." The Festival will also 
 feature Terry Blackhawk on April 15-16 and Carolyn 
 Forché on April 22-23. All events are 
 free and open to the public.\n
