 at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and answer 
 questions about one of the most affordable MSU

 Emergence of the Modern State of Israel (4 
 credits)	\n
 A survey of ideological, political, 
 and social developments from the rise of the 
 Zionist movement to the present. Fulfills IAH 
 second-level course requirement; James Madison 
 College students may opt to take as MC 290.

 Jerusalem Majolica: 
 Intergroup Relations, Communities, and Identities 
 in Jerusalem and the Galilee (4 credits)

 region's historical riches and meetings with 
 members of diverse population. The course includes 
 extensive opportunities to meet with 
 prominent government, NGO, and journalism professionals. 
 Fulfills ISS 300-level requirement;
