 SIMS \n

 Art Sims (MSU '75)  founded 11:24 Design 
 Advertising in Los Angeles, a company dedicated 
 to promoting African-American art and 
 culture,  and he has worked with filmmaker Spike 
 Lee for many years, designing the iconic 
 movie posters for Lee's provocative and poignant 
 films.  Also shown are a number of Sims' 
 design concepts, movie stills, sketches and 
 proofs that reveal part of the creative process 
 and the essence of high-stakes visual communication. 
 The exhibit is presented with assistance 
 from the MSU Black Alumni Association 
 and the MSU Film Studies Program. \n\n
