SUMMARY:Israel and the Two-Level Game: Internal Changes, External Challenges
DESCRIPTION:
Presenter: Yuval Benziman, Israel Institute and
Serling Visiting Israeli Scholar at MSU\n
 \n
The Middle East has been going through dramatic
changes in the last few years. The severe
and unexpected developments in the region pose
new threats to Israel. Although times of stress
and conflict usually unite nations, Israel
is experiencing more internal divides than
ever before. As President Rivlin noted in June
2015, "Israel is disintegrating into four
tribes." The talk will discuss the challenges
Israel has both within and outside, the relations
between them, and what we can expect in
 the coming years.\n
