 Gifted 
 Eyad, a Palestinian Israeli village 
 teen, is given the chance to go to a prestigious 
 Jewish boarding school in Jerusalem. 
 As he desperately tries to fit in with 
 his Jewish schoolmates and adapt to Israeli 
 society, Eyad develops a friendship with another 
 outsider, Jonathan, a boy suffering from 
 MS, and falls in love with a Jewish classmate, 
 Naomi. Eventually, Eyad faces a choice that 
 will change his life forever. Based on the novel 
 by Sayed Kashua, who also wrote the screenplay, 
 the film received Israeli Academy Award 
 nominations for Best Actor, Best Supporting 
 Actor, Best Art Direction, and Best Sound.
