DESCRIPTION:
 Join us for an evening of Irish art and culture 
 as the Broad MSU presents a new exhibition 
 featuring sixteen contemporary Irish artists 
 and their visions of Ireland's changing society 
 and imagined future. The evening will include 
 a site-specific performance by Amanda Coogan, 
 as well as a traditional Irish music session 
 bringing together musicians from Ireland 
 and Michigan. 2116: Forecast of the Next Century 
 is a collaboration between the Lewis Glucksman 
 Gallery at University College Cork, Ireland, 
 and the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum 
 at Michigan State University. Support for this 
 exhibition is provided by Culture Ireland 
 and the Eli and Edythe Broad Endowed Exhibition 
 Fund. On view November 5, 2016-April 2, 2017.\n\n
