SUMMARY:Broad Underground Film Series: Flicker Describing a Cone
DESCRIPTION:
 This month's Broad Underground will juxtapose 
 the hallucinatory rhythms in Tony Conrad's The 
 Flicker (1966) with an interactive, three dimensional 
 light sculpture in Anthony McCall's 
 Line Describing a Cone (1973). You'll never 
 be able to look at film the same way again. 
 This series is an ongoing collaboration between 
 the Broad MSU, Film Studies program, and Department 
 of English at MSU. This year's partnering 
 venues include The Robin Theatre in REO 
 Town and (SCENE) Metrospace in East Lansing.
