SUMMARY:Broad Underground Film Series: 'Infrastructuralisms'
DESCRIPTION:
 "Infrastructuralisms" examines the poetics and 
 politics of infrastructure across a range of 
 experimental films and videos. Challenging the 
 tendency of infrastructure to recede from 
 view until its catastrophic failure, this event 
 focuses on films that make visible the buried 
 networks, systems and substrates that make 
 everyday life possible. This series is an ongoing 
 collaboration between the Broad MSU, Film 
 Studies program and Department of English 
 at MSU. This year's partnering venues include 
 The Robin Theatre in REO Town and (SCENE) Metrospace 
 in East Lansing. Stay tuned for information
