SUMMARY:Sharper Focus Wider Lens: Transforming the World and the Power of Imagination
DESCRIPTION:
 The Honors College's 25th Sharper Focus Wider 
 Lens will focus on the topic "Transforming the 
 World: The Power of Imagination." It will be 
 held at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 27 in the MSU 
 Union Ballroom and will feature a panel of 
 MSU faculty engaging in a trans-disciplinary 
 discussion covering various topics. These topics 
 include: poetry as a form of activism, the 
 theatrical staging of protests, how an idea 
 becomes a film, songwriting by youth in Detroit 
 and the re-purposing of animal snares from 
 East Africa into decorative art. Audience 
 Q&A will follow the discussion.\n
