DESCRIPTION:
 Clemantine Wamariya is a storyteller, public speaker, 
 social entrepreneur and human rights 
 advocate. Born in Kigali, Rwanda, displaced by 
 conflict, Wamariya migrated throughout seven 
 African countries as a child. At age 12, she 
 was granted asylum in the United States and 
 went on to receive a BA in comparative literature 
 from Yale University. Wamariya now uses 
 stories drawn from her experiences to catalyze 
 change and create community. Wamariya will 
 speak about her new book, "The Girl Who Smiled 
 Beads: A Story of War and What Comes After." 
 There will be a question and answer period 
 and an opportunity to purchase the book and 
 have it signed by the author.\n
