 In this presentation, South African Pulitzer Prize-winning 
 photographer and author Greg Marinovich 
 discusses the ways in which he has dealt 
 with, or not dealt with, the contradictions 
 that face conflict journalists in Africa and 
 around the world. He references Susan Sontag 
 and Frantz Fanon in addressing the issues 
 of photographing violence, both as a partial 
 insider in his own country and a complete outsider 
 as a photojournalist parachuted into a 
 war zone.\n
