 Mageza-Barthel lectures at the Department of 
 Political Science and is a Research Fellow at Africa's 
 Asian Options (AFRASO), Goethe University 
 Frankfurt. Her research centers on the 
 international relations of gender politics 
 in the global South.  She is the author of "Mobilizing 
 Transnational Gender Politics in Post-Genocide 
 Rwanda" (2015) and co-editor of the 
 volumes "Negotiating Normativity: Postcolonial Appropriations, 
 Contestations and Transformations" (2016) 
 and "Afrasian Transformations"; 
 "Transregional Perspectives on Development 
 Cooperation, Social Mobility and Cultural Change" (forthcoming).\n
