SUMMARY:The Future of Education Abroad at MSU
DESCRIPTION:
 This workshop features Dr. Opal Leeman Bartzis, 
 Executive Director of Education Abroad who 
 joined MSU six months ago. Dr. Leeman Bartzis 
 will share her philosophies on global learning 
 and guide a discussion of the future of education 
 abroad at MSU. Attendees will examine 
 the Office of EA's guiding principles, share 
 ideas and collectively consider potential application 
 of a draft set of inspirational statements 
 and best practices for MSU.\n

 As executive 
 director of education abroad, Opal provides 
 vision for the education abroad office 
 and leadership for all aspects of the education 
 abroad experience at MSU. In addition to managing 
 education staff units, she actively engages 
 faculty and offices across campus in the 
 institutional aim of cultivating globally 
 engaged citizens.\n
