 At once an experimental filmmaker, documentarist, 
 and collage artist, Dammbeck came of age 
 in East Germany and has worked in Hamburg 
 since 1986. He is currently on US tour with a 
 retrospective of his work. Prof. Lily Woodruff 
 (AAHD) will serve as respondent in discussion 
 with the filmmaker himself.\n
