 second largest number of mass graves in the 
 world and more than 114,000 disappeared persons, 
 victims of the fascist violence that established 
 the dictatorship of Francisco Franco, 
 who ruled Spain from 1939-75. Emilio Silva, 
 President of the Association for the Recovery 
 of Historical Memory, will reflect on two decades 
 at the forefront of the memory movement 
 and the state of historical memory in Spain
