 The speaker of this webinar is Stephane Mallat 
 from Ecole Normal Superieure. It will be available 
 online at https://sites.google.com/view/minds-seminar/home. 
 It will be about understanding 
 the properties of deep neural networks, 
 which is not just about applying standard 
 harmonic analysis tools with a bit of optimization. 
 It is shaking our understanding of non-linear 
 harmonic analysis and opening new horizons. 
 By considering complex image generation 
 and classification problems of different complexities, 
 the speaker will show that sparsity 
 is not always the answer and phase plays an 
 important role to capture important structures 
 including symmetries within multiscale representations.
