DESCRIPTION:
 Who Is a Citizen? presents new prose, poetry, 
 and moving-image works made by MSU students in 
 response to the videos in John Lucas and Claudia 
 Rankine: Situations. The student artists-who 
 were selected from a call for work this 
 past winter, in partnership with the College 
 of Arts & Letters, the Department of English, 
 the Creative Writing Program, the Film Studies 
 Program, and the MSU Broad-explore hybrid 
 media genres to advocate for racial equity and 
 a more just society.\n
