SUMMARY:The Trouble with Trilobites - with Dr. Danita Brandt
DESCRIPTION:
Join us for a virtual talk with Dr. Danita Brandt,
 "The Trouble with Trilobites." \n
 \n
 Trilobites,
 distant relatives of horseshoe crabs,
were once the most abundant and diverse animals
in the Paleozoic seas that covered most of
the Earth (including Michigan) 500 million years
ago. However, by the end of the Paleozoic
Era, trilobites were extinct. What happened
to the trilobites, and why didn't horseshoe
 crabs suffer the same fate?\n
