SUMMARY:3D Printing Terrain Elevation Maps (GIS Day 2021 Workshop)
DESCRIPTION:
 Celebrate GIS Day by learning to produce a 3D 
 model of terrain elevation for printing on a 
 3D printer! We will learn about digital elevation 
 models, where to find DEM data to create 
 our printable export, and then use the QGIS 
 plug-in DEMto3D to create a model. We will then 
 edit and verify the model is ready for printing 
 in Meshmixer.\n

 This workshop will be 
 held in person and virtually. To attend in person, 
 please come to the Digital Scholarship 
 Lab in the Main Library on the second floor of 
 the west wing. \n\n
