SUMMARY:Spartan Upcycle Fridays: Junk Journals
DESCRIPTION:
 Every Friday in September, drop in to the Art 
 Lab and create your own custom junk journal made 
 up of discarded paper items like magazines, 
 envelopes, brochures, sheet music, packaging, 
 maps, and surplus office supplies from Spartan 
 Upcycle. Junk journals are perfect for 
 creative writing, poetry, sketching, or collaging-or 
 they can be a work of art on their own!\n

 Drop 
 in on Fridays and "go green!" 
 Each month, the MSU Broad Art Lab offers 
 a sustainably conscious project in collaboration 
 with Spartan Upcycle, the creative reuse 
 branch of the MSU Surplus Store & Recycling 
 Center. We repurpose and re-imagine items 
 that might otherwise end up in a landfill with 
 a creative twist. Materials and instruction 
 are $5 for the general public and free for 
 students of any age. Pre-registration for this 
 event is encouraged.\n
