15th Annual "Pack Up, Pitch In, Help Out."

Expanded beyond Michigan State University's campus to include the city of East Lansing in 2008, the annual "Pack Up, Pitch In, Help Out." program will divert thousands of cubic feet of waste from landfills. MSU encourages students and East Lansing community members to recycle and donate unwanted items from now through June as part of the program, promoting environmental sustainability during residence hall move-out.
Recyclable Items: Plastics #1-#7, metal, white paper, mixed paper, boxboard, newspaper, wood and carpet.
Drop-off Locations:
MSU Residence Halls - Collection through May 7
East Lansing Hannah Community Center - Collection on May 5-6
University Village Apartments - Collection through May 9
Spartan Village - Collection through May 13
Cherry Lane and Faculty Bricks Apartments - Collection through June 15 more information...
