Focus Tour: Memory Loss
(Public Programs)
One artwork. One guest. One theme. In November, we'll look at the artwork Memory Loss Change by Jacquelynn Sullivan Gould featured in the 2021 AAHD Faculty Triennial: Where We Dwell. Neuroscientist and MSU Faculty member Dr. Kevin Foley from Mercy Health Hauenstein Neuroscience Center Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders Program will join this unconventional tour to discuss Alzheimer's Disease and the medical implications of art and healing. Registration for this free event is required. Register here.
This monthly tour series offers a close look at one work of art on view at the MSU Broad. Join our Director of Education, Michelle Word, as she talks with an invited expert who will bring their unique perspectives and knowledge to the conversation, sharing relevant cultural, scientific, and historical context that brings into focus the artwork's timely themes.
The 2021 MSU Department of Art, Art History, and Design Faculty Triennial is on view Aug. 7-Dec. 19 at the MSU Broad Art Museum. more information...
