Sleep: Safety, Duty Hours and Health
(Conferences / Seminars / Lectures) Pediatric Grand Rounds presented by: Judith Brady, PhD, Assistant Professor, Director of Student Counseling and Wellness, Office of Student Affairs and Services. College of Human Medicine, Pediatrics & Human Development, MSU. Objectives: 1. Identify ways in which loss of sleep and disrupted sleep in health care providers affects patient care and the safety of patients and providers. 2.Describe the impact of resident duty hour changes on patient care and resident well-being 3. List ways to manage work-related sleep loss and/or disruption.
