Center for Statistical Training & Consulting: Social Network Analysis
(Conferences / Seminars / Lectures) This workshop is presented by Dr. Kenneth Frank of the Department of Measurement and Quantitative Methods. Participants will then have opportunities to explore how to define and apply these models in their own settings. The focus is on theoretical model development which can inform the design of studies, measures, and analysis. The focus is not on software, although there will be some exposure, and participants will be introduced to a range of social network resources. Participants should have roughly one year of applied statistics so that they are extremely comfortable with the general linear model (regression and ANOVA) and analysis of 2x2 tables. The workshop will break from Noon-1pm to allow time for lunch. Please visit www.cstat.msu.edu to register. more information...
