Jan Eberle, oboe
(Performing Arts (Dance, Music, Theatre, ...)) Featuring both oboe and English horn, the repertoire includes Bach Sonata G minor; Gardens by Peter Schickele, who is better known as PDQ Bach, the "comic" music composer; Miniatures by William Grant Still, a most prominent African American composer -- a chamber work featuring flute, oboe, and piano that presents short "postcards" of America via popular ballads and folk songs.
