Panel Discussion on Pakistan Flood
(Academic)
On September 30 at 4 p.m. the Asian Studies Center will host a panel discussion of the recent devastating flooding in Pakistan. The program will feature a presentation by members of the MSU Pakistan Students Association and comments by:
Farina Mir, Associate Professor
Department of History, University of Michigan
Saeed Khan, Lecturer
Classical and Modern Languages, Literature, and Culture Wayne State University
Mushtaq Luqmani, Professor and Chair of Marketing Haworth College of Business Western Michigan University
Khalida Zaki, Assistant Professor
Department of Sociology
Michigan State University
All are invited to attend and learn more about the short- and long-term impacts of the floods on Pakistan's economy and society. This program has been organized by the Asian Studies Center, The Muslim Studies Program, the MSU Department of Sociology, and the Pakistan Students Association.
